Guided Tours of Cambridge leave from the Information Centre 7 days a week. Tickets can be booked in advance or bought on the day.

Your guide will relate some of the fascinating stories regarding the famous people connected with Cambridge whilst looking at some of the best known and impressive sights Cambridge has to offer. Tours leave from the Tourist Information Centre at 12.00 Mon-Fri, also 12.00 and 14.00 on Saturdays. There is an additional tour at 14.00 every day during July and August

This is a one hour introductory tour of the museum, meeting at the Courtyard entrance of the Museum at 14.30 on Saturdays throughout the year. (Only when the museum is open)

For the first time since it's foundation nearly 500 years ago the Parker Library will be admitting tours of Library on Thursday afternoons at 14.00. Tours leave from the Tourist Information Centre and will include part of Corpus Christi College as well as a tour of the library and a sample of its amazing collection which includes the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle, principal source book for early English history, the sixth-century Gospels of Saint Augustine, the Bury Bible and the best manuscript of Chaucer's Troilus.*
*We cannot guarantee a specific book/manuscript will be on show.

Our Special tour to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Charles Darwin's birth and the 150th anniversary of the publication of "On the Origin of Species" was so popular we're running it again! The tour will cover sites connected with Darwin's time in Cambridge.

This tour will include Christ's College, including Darwin's rooms, Dining Hall and Memorial Garden.

Tours are available until 25th September 2010 and leave from the Tourist Information Centre at on Saturdays at 11.15.
