The Co-operative Cambridge Folk Festival is one of the premier music events in Europe and one of the longest running and most famous folk festivals in the world.
Rare and special performances include Kris Kristofferson, Natalie Merchant, Pink Martini, The Imagined Village, Sharon Shannon & Imelda May, Rokia Traoré, The Unusual Suspects, Kathy Mattea, Salsa Celtica, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Boban & Marko Markovic Orchestra and The Burns Unit.

Why not join us for an interesting fun-filled historic extravaganza. A fabulous fun day out for all the family!
History events from Grafton will be acted out in cameos throughout the day. Historic Medieval traders and craft stalls with lots of interesting fun things for all the family, including children´s period fancy dress parade, entries welcome.
The main event is a medieval battle by The British Plate Armour Society in the main arena each day. Enq (inc traders) contact Kathy.

The Annual One Day Royston Charity Kite Festival Returns to Therfield Heath on Sunday 1st August. In aid of Hope & Homes for Children. £1 entry for adults, kids go free.

Headlining the festival is All Star Band - The 80´s Rocked, plus Hazel O´Conner, Mostly Autumn, Tygers of Pan Tang, Monsters of British Rock, The Enid, Larry Miller, Stray, the fabulous Chantel McGregor and many more!

6 Aug: The Ceilidh Allstars with a family ceilidh at 5.30pm, followed by one for the adults at 8.30pm. Celtic Heart will provide musical breaks.
7 Aug: 4 live bands from 12-4pm: Starfish, The Last Dinosaur, Simon Panrucker, Static Front.
8pm-midnight: Salsa dancing to Roberto Pla and his 12-piece Latin Ensemble.
8 Aug, 2pm-4pm: Morgan Szymansky, rising classical guitarist, and Adam Walker, flautist with London Symphony Orchestra playing music from Ponce to Piazzolla.

Orwell & District Horticultural Society present: Vegetables, flowers, fruit, floral art, home produce, wine & beer, handicrafts, etc.
Dog show, Wimpole heavy horses, vintage tractors, Cottenham Brass Band, archery, refreshments, children´s entertainment and much more.
Held on Orwell Recreation Ground

A star studied line up including Britain´s Got Talent winners Diversity, Jason Donovan, Soul King Alexander O´Neal, Aswad, Odyssey, T-Rextasy, The Stylistics, the Edwin Starr Band and a brand new touring show - TSOP -The Sound Of Philladephia.
There will also be an afternoon Caribbean food demo & masterclass by TV Personality/Celebrity Chef Levi Roots. Later Levi will appear on the main stage with `Reggae Reggae Sauce´ Band.
Also in the afternoon Diversity will be doing a demo masterclass.
