One Michelin Star, The Michelin Guide 2013
Chef Patron Mark Poynton uses his Michelin star experience to create dishes brimming with quality and originality. The menus (A La Carte; Tasting; Chef’s Tasting and Fixed Price) change with the seasons and use ingredients sourced locally wherever possible. The Good Food Guide comments on the ‘exemplary cooking skills, innovative ideas, impeccable ingredients and an element of excitement. The restaurant has a wine list that our inspector and wine expert have deemed to be exceptional'.
General Manager Ed Whittaker and his staff work closely with Mark to ensure Alimentum continues its policy of sourcing great wines direct from growers, particularly those with strong ‘eco' credentials.
