Food Events & Farmer's Markets
Gastronomes and foodies will find plenty to please them in Cambridge. There are farmers’ markets and food events throughout the year showcasing the delicious diversity of food in Cambridge and Cambridgeshire.
The Market Square plays host to the weekly Sunday Farmers’ Market with a tempting selection of locally grown and produced food with stalls laden with fruit and vegetables, fresh juices, pickles, jams, cheese and cakes. There are farmers’ markets held across Cambridgeshire in many of the region’s market towns selling he best of organic, locally grown and sourced food and drink.
The Cambridge Food, Garden and Produce Festival comes to Parker’s Piece on September 15th and 16th and is a free event featuring food and drink tasting and cookery demonstrations.
Feast East is an annual food and drink festival, held at Chilford Hall, Linton, and celebrates the tastes of Anglia. There are 80 stalls selling a wide range of food and drink, tastings and demonstrations all under one roof.
Eat Cambridge Festival, is the much-loved local festival for foodies and the city's independent food and drink businesses.
The dates have been set, stallholder and fringe event applications are in, and work is going on behind the scenes to make sure local food lovers have a jam-packed fortnight of food and drink events to look forward to in May.
