Steak & Honour

Steak & Honour are now serving up burgers from a brand new Cambridge restaurant, adding a bricks and mortar site to its fleet of distinctive vintage wheels.

Their new permanent home enjoys a central location on Wheeler Street, right next door to the Corn Exchange.

Steak & Honour bring an independent edge to Cambridge’s streets. David and Leo are local Michelin trained chefs who use the right ingredients sourced from people who care. Their patties are 100% Riverside Beef and their own recipes for Burger Sauce, Chilli Sauce, Beetroot Pickle and Seaweed Mayo are all made in-house.

Sides include Chilli Fries, hand cut ‘Slaw and Mac & Cheese ‘good enough to fight over… travel here just for this, I implore you (Laura Rowe, Olive Magazine). Steak & Honour’s ‘One For Ella’ Bacon-Cheese Burger was dubbed ‘superlatively, hauntingly tasty’ by Shortlist Magazine, and is on the menu alongside the ‘Classic’, ‘Cheese’, ‘Some like it Hot’, and two vegetarian burgers. Craft beer and fairtrade soft-drinks complete the independent line-up.

Steak & Honour houses enough space for 40 covers in the upstairs dining areas and a ground floor counter where diners can order and collect – just like on the vans. In keeping with this service style, no reservations are taken.
