The Sheep Shop

Voted one of the best yarn shops in the UK, you'll find a warm welcome and lots of British wools, locally-dyed yarns, luxury and budget yarns from around the world. Also, tools for knitters and crocheters and some felting and spinning supplies. We think choosing what you’re going to make and feel between your fingers is one of life’s pleasures, and we want to make it a pleasure for you to find what you need. We run many classes in knitting, crochet, felting, weaving and spinning, for beginners to advanced crafters. These need to be booked ahead, and details can be found on the shop website. New faces are welcome at our weekly Friday morning knitting/crochet groups or monthly Tuesday night groups (for people using yarn bought at the shop). Wool is fundamental to British history (the Speaker of the House of Lords even sits on the Woolsack!) and British wool is some of the best in the world. What could make a better gift than British wool or Cambridge-dyed yarn?
