Horse Riding

For those who fancy the challenge of a long distance ride, want to take their horse on holiday, or just would like something different to do in their own part of the UK   the Ride UK website www.ride-uk.org.uk provides information on riding. Ride UK is a focal point for the Society’s National Bridle Route Network – a project which aims to defend, extend and promote a network of safe, easily accessible riding routes, primarily off-road.

The site provides information on short and long-distance routes throughout the UK, with details of further information and horse-friendly B&B establishments and provides information on a number of recommended and legal standards for construction of Bridleways and their surrounding furniture.
