Punting Tours

The River Cam runs through the heart of Cambridge enabling you to enjoy fantastic views of the world famous Cambridge College ‘Backs’ from the comfort of a traditional Cambridge Punt.

King's College Chapel, The Wren Library at Trinity College and the Bridge of Sighs, are just some of the famous Cambridge landmarks you can expect to see during this 45-minute chauffeured punt tour.

Cambridge Chauffeur Punts

Cambridge Chauffeur Punts was founded in 1993. Since then we have built up to a fleet of 27 Punts some of which are double punts, designed for taking groups such as school parties and conference groups of up to 100 people. Customers can choose from taking a tour with a chauffeur guide or punting themselves. We operate on the upper river, towards Granchester and along the middle river which passes the famous college Backs.

At Lets Go Punting we specialise in private and shared chauffeured punting tours. Our tours last approximately 50 minutes and cover the full length of the College Backs, including magnificent sights such as Kings College Chapel, The Bridge of Sighs and New Court St Johns.Sit back and relax whilst your chauffeur punts you along the River Cam providing an interesting and information tour focusing on the riparian colleges, famous alumni and Cambridge history.

Founded in 1910, we are Cambridge's oldest and most renowned punting company. Since our foundation, we have been hiring out craft in Cambridge to both residents and visitors alike. If you would like to have a go at punting yourself, you can hire one of our craft for as short as an hour or as long as a day's opening hours.
