Monday 18 to Sunday 31 July 2016
OuseFest returns this summer with a fortnight of over 80 local events celebrating the Ouse Washes Landscape and Communities! There’s plenty happening at a variety of venues right on our doorsteps, spanning from St Ives and Fen Drayton Lakes all the way to Downham Market in Norfolk. It’s a perfect opportunity to learn more about the history of this fascinating part of East Anglia, the local wildlife and habitats and traditional Fenland life. OuseFest is sure to be lots of fun and a great way to reminisce about the old days, think about the future and enjoy everything our beautiful local area has to offer.
Events include wildlife activities, family fun days, history trails, kite aerial photography workshops, village walking tours, poetry workshops, folklore talks, art trails, photography exhibitions, theatre performances, craft workshops and film festivals. There is sure to be something for all ages.
This only gives a taster of what’s happening during OuseFest. To find out more and to see the full programme, please visit www.ousewashes.org.uk/ousefest, Twitter or Facebook.
