The Old Dairy

New Hot tub! Fullers Hill Cottages offers a choice of four beautifully presented holiday cottages, two that can sleep four guests and two sleeping up to six guests. After consulting teams from South Cambridgeshire planning department, architects, builders, interior designers and eco-planners we have created four beautiful holiday apartments. Each one has a unique story and each one’s renovation reflects this. We have aimed to create holiday homes that we would love to stay in and we hope you share our enthusiasm and welcome you. We have four cottages, each unique in their own way, ready for you to enjoy!

Our apartments each feature a functional kitchen, equipped with an integrated dishwasher, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, oven and hob, cooking utensils and cutlery, glass and tableware. The Old Dairy has a washer/dryer and the Hayloft, The Stable and The Tack Room have access to the communal laundry room. In the communal laundry room there is also a freezer. A dining table is located close to the kitchen. In the lounge areas we have soft comfortable sofas (the Old Dairy and The Stables feature a double sofa bed for extra guests) all apartments have a large 3D flat screen TV with free-view channels and internet, Bluray DVD player, free WI-FI throughout the apartment and a music docking station. Our bathrooms feature clean modern design with tiled walls and floors, hand basin, shower and toilet. Our beds are dressed with Egyptian cotton linen encasing feather pillow and duvet, on a luxury mattress. In the bedroom areas we have ample storage in the form of hanging space and drawers. Each apartment has a hair dryer, iron and ironing board and access to a communal laundry machine facility where you can find a vacuum and clothes dryer. We also have a hot tub and garden area to relax in. We offer all bed linen, towels, robes, tea, coffee, biscuits, cots and highchairs at no extra charge. We feel very fortunate to live in this particular area of Cambridgeshire, with all the leisure activities and beautiful countryside it has to offer. To help you plan your holiday we have put together recommendations of leisure activities in the local area, based on the personal experiences of ourselves and our friends. The family run farm and airfield lets us provide for niche interests – it is possible to fly in if you wish, or bring your horse. We hope that these unique touches, the high standard of the renovation and our detailed knowledge of the local area will make your holiday truly enjoyable and memorable.

The Old Dairy is on two floors and sits in the oldest part of the original barn. Sleeping four to six guests, it has two bedrooms upstairs (one with a super-king size bed and the other with two singles which can be joined together to become another super-king), along with a shower room. Downstairs, the traditional kitchen has an old-fashioned farm house style sink to reflect its heritage in dairy and there is a separate living area with sofa bed for parties of six. This apartment also has its own washer/dryer. The Old Dairy has views to the airfield and there are some aviation themed items throughout the apartment. The Hayloft offers single level accommodation for up to four guests and has two bedrooms (one with a super-king size bed and the other with two singles which can be joined together to become another super-king), along with a shower room all on the second floor. This apartment has access to the communal laundry area.

The Stables offers single level accommodation for up to six guests that is fully accessible for part-time wheelchair users. It is ideal for couples with one bedroom but can easily accommodate an additional two guests on the sofa bed in the lounge, along with a baby or one further guest in the foyer. There is a lovely open plan living/dining/kitchen area with an extendable dining table to seat up to 12 guests. This apartment has access to the communal laundry room. The Tack Room offers single level accommodation for up to four guests and has two bedrooms (one with a super-king size bed and the other with two singles which can be joined together to become another super-king), along with a shower room. The apartment has access to the communal laundry room and is located where the shire horses’ tack and harnesses were once kept. This cottage is perfect for the less mobile guest.

Outside: There is a communal garden area with hot tub, BBQ and table tennis table with plenty of off road free parking. There are two bikes that can be hired at no extra charge. Additional information: Eco friendly under floor heating supplied by ground source heat pump. Family friendly and suitable for all generations. Dogs and other pets are very welcome. Cot available. Cleaning service available. One apartment offers wheelchair friendly accommodation. Strictly no smoking. Free Wi-Fi access in all apartments. Exclusive hire of all four cottages is welcome, subject to availability.
