Road Directions

By road:

Post code for the sat nav is: CB2 3DT From the North, Midlands and East, follow the M11 southbound (via the A14 from the Midlands and East) and exit at junction 12. Take Barton Road to the roundabout and turn right onto Fen Causeway. Continue to the roundabout and take the first exit. Continue onto Trumpington Street, following signs for the Grand Arcade and turn right onto Pembroke Street, which turns into Downing Street. Cambridge City Hotel is located at 20 Downing Street. From the South, take junction 11 off the M11. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Hauxton Rd/A1309. Continue straight and follow Trumpington Road for about two miles (3.2 km) into Cambridge. Go through one roundabout and at the second roundabout take the first exit. Continue onto Trumpington Street, following signs for the Grand Arcade and turn right onto Pembroke Street, which turns into Downing Street. Hilton Cambridge City Centre Hotel is located at 20 Downing Street.  

Public Transport Directions

By train:  

There are frequent trains from London King's Cross and from Liverpool Street to Cambridge. There are also good connections from Peterborough, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh. Cambridge City Hotel is approximately one mile from the train station and is around 10 minutes by taxi or a 15 minute walk.

By air:

Stansted Airport is approximately 30 miles (48 km) from Hilton Cambridge City Centre Hotel by car – please see road directions from the South above. If taking a train from Stansted Airport, frequent trains depart the station at the airport to Cambridge city centre. Please board a train in the direction of Birmingham New Street. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. From Cambridge train station Cambridge City Hotel is around 10 minutes by taxi from the station or a 15 minute walk.
