Just over a mile from the historic city centre, with plenty of free parking, Hotel Felix is the perfect base for a relaxing break.
A striking combination of traditional Victorian architecture and modern, twenty-first century additions, Hotel Felix stands in spacious surroundings with a large terrace for al fresco dining and drinks and a beautiful gazebo, perfect for civil ceremonies.
Overlooking the terrace and garden, Graffiti, the restaurant, open to both residents and non residents, offers modern cuisine with a Mediterranean twist.
All bedrooms have an opulent simplicity about them with en suite bathrooms lined in slate many with a walk-in monsoon showers as well as a bath. King size Hypnos beds (several of which can be unzipped to become twin beds) and the finest Egyptian cotton bed linen and duvets ensure a comfortable nights sleep. Included in every room is a mini bar with complimentary fresh milk for the tea and coffee making facilities, laptop safe, CD player, Satellite TV with Pay as you View Movies, a data port for non networked laptop connections and a DDI (Direct Dial In) telephone system with voicemail. Hotel Felix also has wireless internet hotspots in both public areas and bedrooms.
Graffiti Restaurant at Hotel Felix overlooks the south facing terrace and gardens. In summer the atmosphere is light and airy with the decking on the terrace providing the perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink or al fresco dining. An open fire in the middle of the restaurant during gloomy, colder days brings a comfortable, relaxed and intimate air to the place.
Hotel Felix is a dog-friendly hotel. A supplement of £15 is charged per stay and this is payable upon departure.
Children welcome from any age.
