Throughout your stay you will be warmly welcomed by highly trained and professional staff, and will experience ultimate luxury and comfort. Along with uniquely styled, spacious bedrooms, you will discover a variety of exquisite dining outlets and leisure facilities, including a state-of-the-art fitness suite.

Our 155 guest rooms are comfortable, gracious and exceptionally spacious. Flooded with natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows, each room has been individually designed with bespoke furnishing to create captivating personal spaces, full of charm and character. Each room features the ultimate comfort - a hand-made King Koil bed enhanced with a deep duck down topper and dressed with crisp Egyptian cotton.

Throughout the hotel you will find four unique dining venues, each with its own distinctive setting, mood and atmosphere. Enjoy the contagious buzz and energy of the Restaurant and Bar, or relax with an afternoon tea in our ornate Garden Room. Steam Deli offers easy informality and sensational, seasonal, salads and sandwiches. Our intimate Library is the perfect space to work or relax; with leather armchairs, an open fire, and a light menu of sweet and savoury plates. Food is always simple, seasonal, locally sourced and prepared to the exacting standards of Alan Dann, our award-winning chef.

Tamburlaine is ideally situated in the heart of Cambridge’s thriving City Quarter, just a minute away from Cambridge Train Station. It is a short, picturesque, stroll to the city centre, and we are just a stone’s throw from various Cambridge attractions including the tranquil Cambridge University Botanic Garden and historic Cambridge Colleges.
