Hotel Du Vin: Conferences and Events

The university town of Cambridge invites visitors to marvel its elegant architecture, cobbled streets, spires and quads or a enjoy a nice picnic on the River Cam’s grassy banks.

Hotel du Vin Cambridge was lovingly converted from old university buildings, located among the Grade II listed buildings of picturesque Trumpington Street. The boutique hotel has maintained its original character and quirky architectural features and is the ideal place to celebrate, conduct business and simply relax.

In a world where guests can lose themselves in crannies, restored fireplaces, exposed brickwork, nooks and dark wooden floors, Hotel du Vin Cambridge graduates with honours when it comes to unique hotels. In the lounge, guests can take morning coffee or afternoon tea, or savour classic French dishes with a British twist in the trademark Bistro. The hotel’s resident Sommelier provides tastings for guests to explore the terroir and variatels of our wine cellar. If guests prefer something different, one of the stunning function rooms for a get-together or private dining experience are one of a kind. When the evening falls, guests find a comfy custom-made bed with soft Egyptian cotton linen in one of the 41 distinctive bedrooms. Also present is a monsoon shower or roll top bath and large fluffy towels.

Events- A private dinner, lunch or event: the perfect space
For smaller, intimate events the Common Room is perfect. Just off reception it is a stunning light and airy room, offering beautiful views over historical Trumpington Street. The largest room, Ruinart, has bespoke mural covering on an entire wall, is light and airy and can be combined with many other features to leave everyone feeling truly inspired.

Our private dining rooms are not only for meetings and special events, they are perfect for a pre-wedding get together, a gathering with a group of friends or even a family lunch.
Wine is at the core of our brand, and our expert sommeliers assist guests with carefully selecting wines for their event, helping to guide them through our comprehensive wine list, and showcasing some of the great wines available in the world today. Our dedicated Events Manager will discuss and arrange all menu options, whether guests wish to create a bespoke menu for their events or use one that has already been compiled.

Meetings- to help guests prepare and ensure everything for their meeting runs smoothly on the day, you will be assigned an experienced event  organiser to help with the finer details. Whether its teambuilding, a product launch, a seminar or meeting, an away day, a drinks reception, networking or a training – guests, their colleagues and clients get the very most from their time with us.
