The Addenbrooke’s Charity Pantomime, the annual medical students’ musical theatre show, is back for its 33rd production! Expect hilarity, passion, and the full range of human emotions (boo to aww) in The 12 Sign-Offs of Hercules.

Not so long ago, in the nearby land of Addenbrooke’s hospital, there was a dark age of busy schedules and burned out doctors. And the busiest and most burned out of all these doctors was the lonely HERCULES.

It has been TWO YEARS since Hercules became a doctor. Coincidentally, it has also been TWO YEARS since Hercules felt happy. The drudgery of the foundation programme has Hercules feeling low, so the cynical consultant HADES secretly gets Hercules struck off the medical register to spare him from any more misery. Unfortunately, instead of finding a rewarding and fulfilling career in a different profession, Hercules just ends up back in clinical school.

The only thing that gets Hercules through another three years of the spiral curriculum is the hope that he will one day find meaning. To find meaning, Hercules must become a TRUE DOCTOR. But what is the measure of a TRUE DOCTOR

All proceeds go to the Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust and Cambridge Rare Disease Network (CamRARE).
