Startup label Briticana champions regional talent in debut showcase

In an era of AI-driven playlists, a bold new voice is rising from East Anglia: Briticana—a new music-production and publishing collective—will make its electrifying debut at Cambridge Junction on 3rd July.

The evening will feature five distinct and dynamic artists, all part of Briticana’s debut release, In Search of Anglia—an album that accompanies a forthcoming Novella, launching in late June.

Described as ‘music with roots, with voices that sing of future blossoms’ the Briticana Showcase invites audiences to immerse themselves in a powerful fusion of sound, storytelling, and regional culture. The performances will reflect Briticana’s unique mission: to reconnect people through an understanding of our history, social and musical, to support artists whose messages will influence the future.

Featured Artists

Chloe w. the Cyriacs – Heart-stirring songs of love, loss, and everything in between. With sumptuous vocals and haunting instrumentation, Chloe leads a trio that seduces the soul with lyrical beauty.

Miguel Zambujeira – A genre-bending guitarist and songwriter whose upcoming EP Unwritten Skies explores the emotional landscape of a new generation. Expect powerful rhythms and poetic resonance.

Ghost Carnival – Formerly known as Saudi Shakes, this trio blends alt-folk and rock with themes ranging from environmental collapse to economic survival. Urgent, vital, and unflinchingly bold.

All My Trials – Raw, gutsy, and steeped in ancient tales, this four-piece band draws on myth and modernity to create a thunderous rhythm-driven sound that both moves and mesmerizes.

Efte – A spellbinding soprano and pianist weaving a tapestry of British, Finnish, and Bengali influences. Her music is intimate, ethereal, and transcendent—a true cultural bridge.

The showcase marks the beginning of Briticana’s broader mission: to merge music, literature, and art into immersive experiences. The ‘In Search of Anglia’ book, launching in July 2025, will combine a novella and CD in a travelogue format, following a group of friends on a quest through Anglian landscapes, telling stories, having debates and partaking of local hospitality.
