Chaos & Calm – an exhibition of paintings

Dive into a wild mix of chaos and calm through vibrant paintings at our in-person art show!

  • 21st August 2026 - 23rd August 2026
  • 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Chaos & Calm brings together two artists whose work sits at opposite ends of the emotional spectrum — and finds the conversation between them irresistible.

Katie Clarke works in acrylics, building layer upon layer of expressive colour, botanical forms and joyful abstraction. Her paintings crackle with energy. They ask you to feel something.

Mandy Lowton works in watercolour, creating luminous, atmospheric landscapes that invite stillness. Her paintings breathe. They ask you to slow down.

Together, their work explores the full range of what paint can do — and what it can say about the way we move through the world. Sometimes chaotic, sometimes calm, and often both at once.

Original paintings, prints and smaller works available. Something for every space and every budget.

Relaxed atmosphere. No pressure — just come and enjoy.

If you’d like to attend the private viewing on Friday 21 August from 7-9pm, please do book for free, through our Eventbrite link. If you prefer to drop in at another time during our opening hours, there’s no need to book! We look forward to seeing you! All welcome!
