Community Carols with Waterbeach Brass

Christmas Carols, a world-class brass band, and the oldest church in Cambridgeshire. Add some mince pies and mulled drinks, and what could be better?

  • 21st December 2025 - 21st December 2025
  • 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Come sing with us on Sunday, 21 December at 3.30pm, at the annual St Bene’t’s Community Carols with Waterbeach Brass!

We’ll gather in the churchyard on Benet Street, opposite Jack’s Gelato, to sing traditional carols and enjoy wonderful brass music. There’ll be a choir, and carol sheets for those of us who don’t remember the third verse of Silent Night 🙂  And afterwards, we’ll serve out mince pies and mulled drinks.

If the weather outside is frightful, don’t worry! We’ll gather inside St Bene’t’s, and the heat will be on.

Did you know?

Forming part of St John’s College, The Bridge of Sighs is one of Cambridge’s most famous landmarks. It shares little with its Venetian namesake, but this Gothic Revival style structure is a beauty in its own right, best admired by punt.
