Creative Darning Workshop

A relaxed afternoon of mindful mending. Design and create your own colourful darned patch.

  • 15th March 2026 - 15th March 2026
  • 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Do your favorite jeans need mending? Or is there an old jumper at the back of your wardrobe that needs an update? Visible mending is a fantastic way to extend the life of your clothes, reduce overconsumption, be creative and learn a new skill in the process!

This workshop will focus on creative darning, a versitile technique that can be used to repair denim, knitwear and many other textiles. You are welcome to bring your own garment in need of a patch, or practice with provided samples. I will take you through the process of designing and creating a patch, using plaid patterns and tabby weave to create a simple but impactful repair.
