Join us at the National Horseracing Museum for a fun drawing workshop with artist Birdie. Darren Bird, ‘Birdie’, artist and cartoonist, has quickly established himself at the heart of racing through his brilliant, timely and clever cartoons on all aspects of horse racing. He has sketched at many race meetings, from the 2000 Guineas here in Newmarket to the Derby and the Cheltenham Festival – you may have seen him drawing live on Sky Sports Racing, ITV Racing and Racing UK!

Birdie is a living legend, and we are delighted to bring him to the museum for this event, part of our programme of events for the HORSEPLAY exhibition. Birdie illustrated the Newmarket Monopoly board game which is currently on display in the museum. In this session, participants will meet the artist and learn how to draw like Birdie and come away with their own sketch horse in his unique style.

Materials are included in the price.
