Now in its third decade, Ely’s Eel Day (the only Eel Day in the world…) this family-friendly day of entertainment and enjoyment is fun for all.
Starting with the Eel Parade, leaving from Cross Green and making it’s way through the City, down to Jubilee Gardens where the main day kicks off at 11am.
An arena will allow various acts and entertainment to showcase their extraordinary talents. Along with a wide range of community stalls, activities, and food and drink vendors, this promises to be another spectacular day.
Don’t forget the World Eel Throwing Championship! (Not real eels!) along with a chance to see real eels with the Environment Agency and to even taste eel!
