End Bossiness Soon

End Bossiness Soon is a vibrant student exhibition presented by Art and Culture Education CIC (ACE C.I.C) in partnership with MODO Gallery, Cambridge. Running from 29 November – 3 December 2025, the project puts creativity back in the hands of young people and highlights why art matters in education, industry, and society.

About the exhibition

Designed for students aged 10–14, End Bossiness Soon invites children to create postcard-sized artworks with absolutely no rules. These pieces will be displayed at MODO Gallery and shared more widely as part of a campaign championing the essential role of creativity in learning and the future workforce.

The project addresses two key challenges:

  • Children rarely see galleries as places for them

  • The arts continue to be marginalised in schools

By giving young people an open platform, End Bossiness Soon demonstrates that creativity isn’t optional—it’s the foundation of innovation.

Opening event

Join us on 29 November at 11:30am at MODO Gallery, Cambridge for the official launch.
Entry is free and no booking is required.

Alongside David Hockney

The exhibition runs in parallel with David Hockney: Normandy Landscapes, allowing visitors to experience both immersive large-scale landscapes and the bold, imaginative postcard works created by young artists.

“This exhibition is about more than postcards. It’s about showing children that their creativity has weight, that their voices shape the future of culture and education.”
Sally Clark, Director, ACE C.I.C and MODO Gallery
