Halloween Punt & Hunt

This half-term, (from the 25th of October until the 2nd of November, 2025), our Halloween Scavenger Hunt & Activity booklets are available when booking a private or shared Cambridge Punting Tour. Dress up, bring the kids down and enjoy a spooktastic, fun-filled 50-minute punt tour.

Join us on the river during October Half Term for some spooky Halloween-themed fun with the kids. Dressing up is optional but encouraged!

Enjoy a 50-minute private or shared punting tour along the college backs, and add our Halloween-themed scavenger hunt and activity booklets for just £2.50 per child.

The booklet includes a spooktacular activity guide to enjoy on the river, featuring ghoulish spot-the-difference challenges and creepy college makeovers. Complete the puzzles to solve the code and claim your Spooky Sweets.

The second half of the booklet is a city centre scary scavenger hunt taking you to Cambridge’s most haunted spots. Learn about Cambridge’s ghosts and ghouls whilst exploring the city centre and taking some fantastic photos!

Did you know?

The city’s name is known around the world, but it wasn’t always called Cambridge. In the Middle Ages it was known as Grantabridge, meaning the bridge over the river Granta (one of the sources of the River Cam).
