Herbarium Sheets: Collecting Nature’s Treasures

You are invited to a Summer of Botany at Cambridge University Botanic Garden with family trails and activities throughout the summer.

Herbarium sheets are made up of dried and labelled plant material and are used by botanists to keep a record of plants they have found and so scientists can study them. Join us at this session where you can find out more about the herbarium sheets at the University of Cambridge and have a go at making one yourself.

 

Suitable for all children aged 3+.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Normal Garden admission charges apply for accompanying adults.

Bookings open 1 week before the event.
