The epic symphonic portrait of Byron’s brooding, wandering hero Manfred contains some of Tchaikovsky’s most vibrant and characterful music.

Of the recent concerto Mark Simpson wrote for her, Nicola Benedetti said ‘everything has been poured into it’ and The Strad lavished it with praise, calling it ‘immediately arresting’. Simpson’s latest concerto promises to be equally thrilling. Tamara Stefanovich, one of the world’s great interpreters of 20th- and 21st-century piano music, brings this brand new piece to life.
