Lunchtime Talk: Sustainability, Care, and Art Galleries

Join us for a talk about sustainability, care, and art galleries at Kettle’s Yard to celebrate Carbon Literacy Action Day.

  • 13th November 2025 - 13th November 2025
  • 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm

This talk will look at how sustainability and care link objects, people, and the planet. Inspired by the connection between museum practice and the climate emergency, we will discuss histories of care and repair at Kettle’s Yard through its work with collections and communities. We will think together about how galleries can foster social and environmental sustainability through hopeful climate action.

This talk will be lead by Molly Stock-Duerdoth, Learning Host and participatory researcher, in the Ede Room.
