Make it with Marmalade Introduction to Printmaking half-term Halloween specials

Make it with Marmalade Halloween Treats

To make Halloween half-term magical, marmalade Print Studio in Soham have designed two special ½ day Introduction to Printmaking workshops where they will show you printmaking tricks to help you create your own spooky or seasonal Drypoint Etchings and Linocut designs, while you enjoy tasty treats like toffee apple cake, marshmallows and hot chocolate.

This is an ideal workshop for young people aged 14 and upwards, (under 16’s must bring an adult) to enjoy time with friends and family during half-term. Unaccompanied adults are also very welcome to experience some printmaking magic too. The session is suitable for beginners, people with no arts experience or those with rusty skills as we take you step-by-step through every process, to ensure you can work with confidence and at your own pace. We have reference books in the studio, but you are welcome to bring in your own images to work from as well.

All materials to make fabulous prints are provided so you don’t need to bring anything with you, unless you have a particular design idea in mind to discuss on the day.

Here’s what people say about making it with marmalade “We had a great morning making prints to show off to the rest of our family and were amazed at how much we learnt in just three hours. Time flies at marmalade, because printmaking is fun.”

Spaces are limited, so you are advised to book early.
