Plants on the Move: Build your own Wardian Case

You are invited to a Summer of Botany at Cambridge University Botanic Garden with family trails and activities throughout the summer.

Wardian cases are mini glasshouses that were used in the Victorian times to transport plants around the world. Join us in the Garden to create your own wardian case and plant up with seeds to grow at home.

 

Suitable for all children aged 3+.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Normal Garden admission charges apply for accompanying adults.

Bookings open 1 week before the event.
