An exquisite evening of folk music showcasing the album 'uncharted'

  • 25th March 2026 - 25th March 2026
  • 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Following a highly successful album launch and an ecstatically received UK tour, Rachael McShane & The Cartographers return in March 2026 with a new run of dates celebrating Uncharted — a record that has quickly established itself as one of the standout folk releases of recent years.

Best known as a founding member of Bellowhead, Rachael McShane is a singer and instrumentalist of rare power and sensitivity. With The Cartographers — Ian Stephenson (guitar, double bass) and Julian Sutton (melodeon) — she brings traditional songs vividly into the present day, combining deep respect for the source material with inventive arrangements, warmth and sparkle.

In performance, these songs take on new life. Expect rousing sea songs, haunting ballads, irresistible tune sets and moments of quiet beauty, all delivered with world-class musicianship. From the driving energy of “Get Up Jack” to the luminous calm of “Windy Old Weather”, this is music that lifts the room and lingers long after the final note.

Whether you’re a long-time folk devotee or discovering Rachael McShane for the first time, this is a rare chance to experience one of the finest voices in contemporary folk music at the helm of a band operating at the very top of their game.

Beautifully played. Deeply felt. Unmissable live.
