Release and Rise – Ecstatic Dance Wave and Workshop

Join us for a 4-hour sober journey combining fascia release and Ecstatic Dance. We begin with a guided workshop that explores how fascia—the connective tissue that weaves throughout the entire body—affects posture, balance, and emotions. Through simple movements, breathwork, Yin Yoga-inspired poses, and playful animal drills, you’ll learn to sense tension, discover where your body feels stuck, and gently release stored patterns. Fascia holds not only structure but also emotions, and this workshop offers a safe space to release what words alone cannot reach. The last 2 hours unfold as an Ecstatic Dance wave, where music carries you into free, expressive movement. Here you integrate your insights through dance—rising from grounding stillness to expansive release, before closing with relaxation. Beginners welcome.

This 4-hour journey invites you to release tension, reconnect with your body, and rise into freedom of movement.

We begin with a guided fascia exploration inspired by Tom Myers’ Anatomy Trains. Together we will:

Learn about the body’s main fascial lines and how they affect posture, balance, and freedom.

Use simple self-screening movements to sense where our fascia may feel tight, stuck, or out of symmetry.

Map our own discoveries on a paper outline body figure, to take notes and bring awareness to our unique patterns.

Explore targeted movements, breathwork, Yin Yoga poses, and even playful animal-inspired drills to release and hydrate fascia.

Fascia & Emotions
Latest research and therapeutic practice show that fascia is not only structural but also emotional. Traumatic experiences and unexpressed feelings can be stored within the connective tissue of the body, often manifesting as chronic tightness, imbalance, or unexplained discomfort. Talking alone cannot always reach these places — they are released through movement, breath, and embodied presence. This workshop provides a safe space to access, express, and gently let go of what the body is ready to release.

We then gather in an open circle with grounding breath and meditation, and from here the energy rises into a specially curated Ecstatic Dance Wave. The dance offers a space to integrate your fascial discoveries into free, own expressive movement, supported by music that carries you from deep grounding to expansive release and back to gentle stillness.

The evening closes with calming breath and relaxation, allowing the experience to settle in body and mind.
