Santa’s Science Spectacular

This December, Cambridge Science Centre invites you to discover the magic of science with its brand-new live show, Santa’s Science Spectacular! Running every weekend and during the school holidays, visit us for plenty of science filled unmissable family fun packed with ‘Wow!” moments.

  • 6th December 2025 - 4th January 2026
  • 9:00 am - 4:30 pm

Help Santa’s sleigh in our Santa’s Science Spectacular show!

Want to help Santa’s sleigh fly faster with science using rockets and balloons? Explore how with heat we can help Rudolph’s red nose to shine brighter and expect plenty of foam as we help clean up the reindeer’s stables.

Whip up sparkling snowmen in the lab!

Make your very own snowman at our lab bench using a bit of chemistry. You even get to take your snowman home to watch it magically melt.

Create festive Christmas DNA paperchains in the lab!

DNA forms the building blocks for life by pairing bases in a double helix structure. Use strips of coloured paper for the bases and pair them to make festive themed DNA sequences to take home and decorate your home for Christmas!

And there’s plenty of exploration time to get hands-on and play with over 20 hands-on exhibits!
