Swim Bike Run Local is a fun, beginner-friendly multisport event held monthly at Milton Country Park. It’s non-competitive, welcoming participants of all ages and abilities to take part in swimming, cycling, running—or any combination that suits them. Whether you’re trying a triathlon for the first time, building confidence, or just looking for an active family day out, this event is a great fit.

There are various options to choose from: adults (15+) can complete a 100m swim, 4.25km bike ride, and 1.5km run; juniors aged 8–14 do a 50m swim, 2.5km bike, and 500m run; and younger children can join with a parent or guardian in a paired event featuring a 50m swim, 1.5km bike, and 500m run. For children under 6, there’s a duathlon using balance or pedal bikes and a short run—no swimming involved. Swim elements are available from May to September; during colder months, the event switches to a duathlon format.

Entry Details
Entry costs just £5 per person, and there’s a family offer available where one adult and two children can enter for £5 total. You’ll need to bring your own bike and helmet, along with swimwear and weather-appropriate kit. There are paratriathlon categories at this event too.

Why Take Part?
It’s a relaxed and supportive atmosphere, set in a beautiful off-road environment, with the freedom to take part at your own pace. Whether you’re aiming to complete the whole course or just one part, the emphasis is on enjoyment, not competition.
