Twilight at the Museums

Explore Cambridge museums after hours this February half term and celebrate 20 years of Twilight.

  • 16th February 2026 - 22nd February 2026
  • 4:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Museums across the city will be opening their doors and turning the lights down low for a fun-filled evening of torchlit trails, hands-on activities, crafts, storytelling, and more.

Organised by the University of Cambridge Museums, Twilight at the Museums marks its 20th year of after-hours adventures for families in 2026. Stay tuned to find out how to enter a special anniversary social media competition!

Events are free or low-cost, and many are within easy walking distance, meaning families can fill their evening with activities.

The full events programme and bookings will launch on Wednesday 14 January 2026 on the University of Cambridge Museums website: www.museums.cam.ac.uk/theme/twilight

To stay up to date and hear when the programme launches, you can sign up to the Twilight newsletter and follow the University of Cambridge Museums on Facebook and Instagram.
