Under the Sea: A Twilight Event

Can you reunite the hero Odysseus with his shipwrecked men? Join the Museum of Classical Archaeology for an adventure under the sea as we open late and turn out the lights for Twilight at the Museums.

  • 20th February 2025 - 20th February 2025
  • 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The ancient Greek hero Odysseus has washed up on museum shores after a terrible shipwreck, but his men are still lost at sea. He needs to find them before he can journey home – can you be a hero and help him?

Journey down to the mysterious underwater realm of Poseidon, god of the sea. Save Odysseus’ men from dangerous sea beasts and mythical traps in this aquatic rescue operation.

For one night only, join the Museum with the lights down low and the waters high. Come see the Cast Gallery in a new way, as you explore the mysteries of the deep.

No booking required, but we do expect queues.

This event is part of Twilight at the Museums, organised by the University of Cambridge Museums.
