What Makes This Retreat Nourishing

As the season turns and the air grows crisp, the Harvest Moon calls us to pause and gather our energy. It’s a time for appreciation, reflection, and connection.

Wild Abundance is a gentle, immersive journey created for women seeking a moment of peace and deep connection. Drawing inspiration from the energy of the Mid-Autumn Festival, we will gather in a “safe setting” to explore what abundance truly means—in nature and within ourselves.

Just as past attendees have cherished the “perfect calm and mindful”, this morning is designed for you to feel completely “comfortable and at ease”.

Your Journey of Wild Abundance Includes:

🌿Mindful Walk in Nature

We’ll wander through the scents herb gardens, awaken our senses to the fragrant autumn air, and practice what one past participant beautifully described as”exchanging breathes with the trees”.

🍂 Grounding Somatic Movement & Meditation

Beneath the canopy of the ancient Pinetum, you’ll be guided through gentle, flowing movements to connect with your body. We’ll then settle into a peaceful meditation, a practice past attendees have found deeply powerful, with one loving the”meditation using petals”.

🌙 Moon Tea Experience

We will share a moment of reflection. Savour specially selected seasonal teas like chrysthumn, osmathus and sage that clam the body, as we hold space for quiet contemplation and shared connection.

🎨 Botanical Art Journaling Zine

Tap into your creativity, a highlight of our past retreats. Using pressed botanicals and art materials, you’ll craft a personal zine—a tangible keepsake of your reflections on the abundance of your year.

🌰 Nourishing Harvest Bites

We will gather to enjoy delicious, seasonal food that grounds and supports our bodies through the autumn transition, fostering a sense of community as we “share experiences”.

🪷 Women’s Circle & Shared WisdomConnect through gentle sharing and free writing, exploring how nature can support you through the year ahead.

✨ Gift of Personalised Tea

Before you depart, you will create and take home a small jar of tailor-made tea bags, infused with your intentions for the coming season.

This is your space to feel held, seen, and deeply connected. Leave with a renewed sense of inner peace, a tangible reminder of your creative spirit, and the feeling of wild abundance in your heart.

All practices are gentle invitations—participate as much or as little as feels right for you. Your comfort and sense of safety are most important.

This retreat offers:

✨ Small, intimate group (maximum 8 women)

✨ Guidance from Pauline, body-minded coach with Asian heritage and seasonal wisdom

✨ All materials, Cambridge botanical garden entrance (all day ticket), teas, and seasonal food included

✨ Practices you can continue at home for ongoing support

Did you know?

Bringing the river to life in raucous style each June, ‘The Bumps’ are a chaotic series of rowing races. In this Cambridge tradition, which dates back to the early 19th Century, boats set out in single file and must catch and touch, or ‘bump’, the boat ahead without being caught by the rowers on their tail.
