Fitzbillies Bridge St

Fitzbillies Bridge St is the little sister of the historic, original branch in Trumpington St. It sells the same delicious cakes, great coffee and simple savoury food from the counter, 7 days a week.

Fitzbillies Bridge St is directly opposite the Magdalene Bridge punt station, making it the ideal place for breakfast, coffee of a quick lunch before a punting trip or a walk through the historic streets of Cambridge.  For breakfast there are great bacon rolls, smashed avocado on toast, poached eggs or our home made granola; accompanied by some of the best coffee in Cambridge or a pot of our specially blended loose leaf English breakfast tea.  And for lunch there are a selection of sandwiches and salads on the counter, plus hot soup and delicious toasted sandwiches made to order.

And of course it wouldn’t be Fitzbillies without the famous Chelsea buns and other delicious cakes.  The Chelsea buns are renowned for their stickiness.  The other cakes include traditional favourites like brownies and gluten free and vegan options too.

And of course 4pm is time for a traditional cream tea: one of our sultana scones, smothered with raspberry jam and clotted cream and a pot of our special Afternoon Tea blend.

(It is worth noting that if you would prefer waiter service, a larger menu and our full celebration Afternoon Tea, those are not currently available at Bridge St, so please head over to our original Trumpington St branch).
