The Anchor Pub, Dining & River Terrace

We would like to welcome you to come and see us at the The Anchor Pub, Dining & River Terrance.

We have the privilege in being in the heart of one of the most historically beautiful cities in the world, the river Cam is physically at our door step and Kings College is around the corner.

Our top floor restaurant has the best views of the river Cam in all the city and it’s a pleasure to serve in it our fantastic seasonal food which is made by our chefs who are extremely passionate about creatively developing traditional British food packed full of flavour.

Our kind of food:
Hampshire pig pork chop, sautéed new potatoes, buttered kale, grain mustard sauce
Sea bass fillet, pumpkin & sage risotto, brown butter sauce
Honey glazed Barbary duck leg, parsnip mash, braised red cabbage, orange jus
Blue hubbard pumpkin ravioli, Portobello mushroom sage cream, spinach & parmesan crisps
Beer battered fish & chips, mushy peas, chips, tartare sauce

Plus lots of starters, sandwiches, sausage rolls, scotch eggs and some great desserts.

The river terrace is the perfect place to soak in the sun while taking in the beautiful panoramic views with a pint of beer or a glass of wine in your hand.

We love beer! And just can’t enough of it. With six hand-pulls of cask conditioned real ale showing loads of beers made by our fantastic local brewers like Fellows and BlackBar as well as some the best beers made in the UK outside of our county. Come and try our craft range, really special beers and ciders that you won’t see elsewhere in the city for those that love beer as much as we do.

The Anchor is a great place to take in the city!
