Burwell Museum & Windmill

Explore our restored windmill and recreated farm buildings, which tells the story of a bustling fen-edge village. Climb to the top of the 19th century tower windmill, discover what life was like in the old school room, village shop and war time Nissen hut (siren included), and experience our working telephone exchange. With vintage vehicles, historic farm tools, traditional craft demonstrations, special event days and historical re-enactments. Burwell Museum and Windmill offers a unique day out for everyone , as we celebrate past and present in Burwell.
