GHL Punt Tours, based at Trinity College, offer 45 minute private or shared punt tours with a chauffeur guide. You will be punting through all 8 riverside colleges and 9 bridges along the historic River Cam. The tours start and finish at Trinity College punts station.
We are unlike any other punting company. Our mahogany boats are handmade and carefully maintained at the punting station inside Trinity College. The traditional size of our punts allows for less crowded tours, with four seats per punt, each comfortably accommodating up to two people. The punts come equipped with cushions, blankets, sunshades and umbrellas to keep you warm and dry, whatever the weather you are punting in!
Our experienced punt guides are all local residents with an unparalleled experience of punting and deep knowledge of the City, University and Colleges. Our in-depth knowledge of the area and its history along with the smaller group sizes for each tour ensures that we can tailor our punting tours to you and your own unique interests.
Our prices compare favourably with the other companies on the river, at £20 for adults and £10 for children up to 16, for a shared punt tour. We do not deal with third party ticket touts, and pass the savings made on to you.
No Advance Payments! Payments are made directly to us at the end of the tour (by cash or card), ensuring your punting experience lives up to your expectations.
We are the only punting company to operate within the grounds of a Cambridge college: Trinity College. This exceptional setting provides a truly unique perspective of the University and its rich academic heritage.
