Mercado Central is inspired by Spain’s historic markets and restaurants. With a focus on our Galician and Basque heritage, we source high quality, seasonal ingredients. Set in an historic, Cambridge townhouse, you can enjoy a casual lunch at the open kitchen or a special dinner in the upstairs dining rooms. Our suppliers are specialist, small scale operations, whose good practices ensure sustainable and high welfare produce.

We source high quality ingredients from Southern Europe and the British Isles. Every dish highlights the dedication and talent of our suppliers and our menu changes to incorporate their best seasonal, market produce. As well as our ever changing menu, at the Fish Counter we always have Wild Cornish Fish and Grass Fed British Beef.

We give equal importance to our carefully curated wine list from passionate producers and we serve our wines by the glass, while there’s a separate book for fine wines.
