MODO Gallery – Contemporary Art in Central Cambridge
MODO is a contemporary art gallery located in the heart of Cambridge, just minutes from the city’s historic colleges and we’re proud to bring exciting, relevant art experiences to both local audiences and visitors from further afield. With a sister gallery in London’s Piccadilly Arcade, MODO is helping to establish Cambridge as a vibrant destination for serious art. Through our work with Art and Culture Education CIC (Ace CIC), we’re also committed to making art more accessible—especially for families, schools, and younger audiences.
Now Showing: Hockney’s Normandy Landscapes
Our current exhibition explores the dynamic work of David Hockney, one of Britain’s most celebrated artists. Step into a world where contemporary art explodes with life, innovation, and possibility. Includes a major new Normandy installation by Hockney, custom-built for MODO’s expanded three-floor space.
Gallery Director – Sally Clark, Director of MODO Gallery:
“We believe in art that opens doors — not just to ideas, but to new audiences. Cambridge deserves to be on the map for major cultural experiences, and this exhibition is our way of saying: art belongs here, and it belongs to everyone.”
