Cultural Highlights

Whether you explore Cambridge by foot or cycle, the College Backs are an absolute must. The Backs is an area of picturesque land that runs between the River Cam and riverside University of Cambridge Colleges, covering both sides of the banks.

The University has also created a Cultural Treasures Map and Guide, promoting cycle routes between the top 20 cultural
venues around the city.

Additional Outdoor Activities

Cambridge is awash with parks, commons, meadows and gardens, perfect for a leisurely ride with friends and family.

Stop off in one of the picturesque outdoor spaces for a picnic, game of tennis, kick about a football or watch the punts and rowers on the River Cam.

The Cambridge to Norwich Cycle Ride is taking place on Sunday 1st October 2017, starting at Coldham's Common in Cambridge heading east through fenland, patchwork fields, some fantastic friendly pubs and even a few hills!
