Christmas Shopping in Cambridge….

Shopping in Cambridge has never been better.  With a stylish and diverse range of shops, Cambridge has it all.

Never is there a better time to experience the delights that Cambridge has to offer than at Christmas.  The twinkling lights, carol singers and christmas cheer make it an enjoyable experience for all.

With four shopping centres and miles of cobbled streets, shopping in Cambridge offers more choice and variety than even before.  This year has seen a number of new shops open, including Winsor Bishop Jewellers on Trinity Street, Adnams Brewery on Market Hill, Decathlon in The Grafton and Trotter & Dean Menswear on Sussex Street to name but a few, making this years Christmas shopping should be a breeze.

Cambridge is spoilt for choice when it comes to unique, quirky gifts which can be found in one of the many independent boutiques that you will find spread throughout the city.  Head to the historic centre to find those special gifts for your loved ones.

A short walk across one of the city’s green spaces and the delights of The Grafton,  Fitzroy Street and Burleigh Street await. Here you will discover bargains galore at Primark, Wilkos and Poundland, as well as some excellent charity shops and Jemporium, a vintage fashion shop that is a real treasure.

Mill Road, just off Parker’s Piece, is the city’s bohemian area hosting a diverse range of restaurants and food shops, curios, books and furniture, cycles and more.

From high street names to excellent independents, Cambridge has it all. Cambridge offers shopping at its best.

Christmas Shopping outside of Cambridge...

Saffron Walden Christmas Market will be open all day and late into the evening on 1st December, from 09:00 - 20:30 - to accompany the late night shopping throughout the town, which includes the Christmas Lights Switch On.

An annual evening of fun, with shops remaining open until late, market and charity stalls lining the central streets, entertainers, Father Christmas in his grotto, and a Christmas Gift Fair in the Town Hall.

The Christmas lights will be switched on by the Mayor, assisted by Father Christmas, at 18:00. Don’t miss it!
