The Chapel Arts Season 2019

A series of concerts and events in the Chapel on St Ives Bridge

Built in the 1420s, St Ives ancient bridge with its chapel in the middle, is one of only four of its kind in the country. Throughout the summer and autumn the Town Team will be hosting a diverse range of arts events including concerts, readings, exhibitions and happenings

May
Friday 17th – The Martin Kemp Trio - Freewheeling and popular Jazz from the Dixieland era including early Ellington.

June
Saturday 8th - Federico Pecchia - Argentinain guitarist and singer performs music from the South Americas.

July
Friday 5th - Daniela Rossi - Classical Guitar Concert featuring works of European composers such as Rodrigo,
Albinez and Tarrega.

August
Sunday 4th - Ruth Holden - an evening of music from the movies with this acclaimed Harpist
Friday 23rd - Robin Walker performs a programme of music for the harpsichord, from early English and Italian music to J.S. Bach, Couperin and a newly composed work.

September
Friday 27th - Accoustics Anonymous, music, songs and humour from this popular quartet.

October
Wednesday 23rd - The Keith Pearson Band. Keith is a seasoned entertainer from the legendary Coup de Grass Band and this new line-up will enchant you with their wonderful harmonies and superb musicianship influenced by country, folk, blues and doo-wop music.

There are only 30 places available for each performance on a first-come, first-served basis.
