At PAUS., an outdoor bathing experience located around 30 minutes outside of Cambridge, you can recharge and relax in wood-fired hot tubs. The site has recently been revamped, and now offers wild swimming, a nature trail, saunas and a café, as well as yoga and creative workshops. The hillside location is blissful and feels a million miles away from the bustle of city life, making it perfect for switching off and resetting. Other wellness spots in the area to check out include CamYoga in Chesterton, which is an institution for yoga fans in the city, and Satyam, where sessions include meditation and mindfulness – you can even try flotation therapy here, allowing you to float effortlessly away in a mood-lit pod filled with Epsom salt water.

Want to meet Cambridge’s largest resident? Head to the Museum of Zoology, where you’ll be greeted by an enormous fin whale skeleton. Measuring 21-metres, it’s one of the largest of its kind ever recorded, and fills the entrance hall end to end.
