Need a little time to yourself for some rest and relaxation? Escape the daily grind with a spot of pampering in Cambridge. The city has spas, salons and shopping aplenty – here’s some inspiration for the ultimate weekend of ‘me time’.

Retail Therapy

Compact and filled with great shops, Cambridge is a dream of a shopping destination. The Grand Arcade has a huge selection of premium retailers and eateries under one skylit roof, ranging from fashion favourites such as All Saints, Hobbs and Hollister, to beauty and jewellery stores. It’s also home to John Lewis and a number of eateries, in case you need to refuel mid-shop. The Grafton, across Christ’s Pieces from the city centre, is another shopping hub, with big name brands including Next, New Look and Decathlon, as well as a great selection of restaurants in its upstairs food court. Cambridge also has a thriving community of independent shops: head down Trinity Street, Green Street and Bridge Street to browse fashion, gifts and more from some of the city’s finest indies.
