Please join us for a conversation with Min Jin Lee, acclaimed author of the bestselling novel Pachinko, at the University of Cambridge.

Few literary works in recent years have received the global attention that Pachinko (2017) has, as the book was translated into numerous languages, received universal critical acclaim, and was turned into an award-winning TV show. For the first time, Min Jin Lee will be visiting Cambridge to offer insight into her creative world.

Min Jin Lee is a Korean-American author who studied history at Yale and worked as a corporate lawyer before dedicating herself to her literary endeavors. Her works in many ways reflect her own experience of immigration as well as questions of identity and nationhood.
