Autumn Schubertiade

The Fairhaven Singers and guests, directed by Ralph Woodward, present an evening of beautiful melodies by the Austrian master, Franz Schubert.

The Fairhaven Singers are delighted to unveil our first concert of the 2022–23 season, an Autumn Schubertiade on October 8th. It’s an evening of gorgeous tunes by Franz Schubert, for which we’ll be joined by guests Bridget Hardy (mezzo soprano), Alessandro Cortello (tenor), Rose Hilder (oboe), and Anna Thirkettle (clarinet). This will be our first appearance in the magnificent Downing Place United Reformed Church, a beautiful and welcoming space with an excellent piano and a silky acoustic. We really hope you can join us – book early to avoid disappointment!
