Cambridge Popup Speakeasy Jazz

See Cambridge’s best amateur jazz musicians in an intimate club setting. Firmly informal: chat with friends, leave whenever, dress whatever. Think dimly lit jazz club with great music. Unlike a gig, talking is allowed - indeed, the club serves as a social club for amateur jazz musicians, jazz fans and anyone who appreciates live music. The music consists of several small sets with different configurations of musicians, meaning that there’s always variety throughout the night.

  • 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Playing is prearranged – this is not an open jam!

Some things we try to have at every event:

  • Welcoming, informal atmosphere for non-musicians and musicians alike.
  • Variety of small sets with different configurations of musicians and instruments. This makes the evening more varied and gives more people a chance to play.
  • Singers. We love singers and try to have one singing set every night!
  • A mix of well-known tunes and less-heard, interesting choices.
