Cambridge Summer History Day

Leading naval historian Roger Knight, 27 years with the National Maritime Museum, examines how the Navy in WW2 learnt the best way to protect trade and troops from their Napoleonic predecessors. Nick Jubber, the travel writer, will explore the real story behind fairy tales. And we finish with the world expert on the Ottoman Empire, Professor Mark Baer of the London School of Economics, in conversation with Dr Sean Lang, Senior Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University, on Khans, Caesars and Caliphs
