CB1 Poetry

We're bringing live poetry back to the heart of Cambridge in our monthly events in the form of open mic nights and guest poet events. All are welcome!

  • 6th August 2023 - 6th August 2023
  • 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

We are delighted to announce that after a briefer hiatus than was anticipated, CB1 is ready to rise again. We’re bringing live poetry back to the heart of Cambridge in our monthly events in the form of open mic nights and guest poet events. Whether you’re a new poet, part of the furniture or just coming along to listen, everyone’s welcome!

This event will be an open mic night which you can sign up to upon arrival. The Town and Gown is the perfect place to enjoy an evening of poems and a bite to eat or drink (I hear they do a great roast).

There is no fee to enter but any and all donations will go back into the event. We hope to have guest poets come and read roughly once a term.
